The Mini Cooper SE holds an important place in the carmakers history as being their first electric model.Recently they have planned to go for the topless version.This indicates that the revealation is Cooper SE Convertible.Its been the first and unique working model in the electric version to go topless.

The main hallmark normally of the Mini Cooper SE is its roof but in this case the roof is a disappearing one.

The Cooper SE convertible is pretty identical to its hard-top counterpart,with the likes of circular LED headlights,the mustache-like front grille surrounded with 17-inch alloy wheels,yellow accents in the OVRMs and the Union Jack tail lights are retained.Its even dimensionally identical to the hard-top cooper SE,measuring 3863mm long,1727mm wide,2495mm tall with a wheelbase of 2495mm.

It has a standard Cooper SE's 32.6kWh battery pack and 184PS electric motor.It manages to do the 0-100kmph sprint in 7.7- seconds compared to 7.3 seconds of standard model.It manages a WLTP-claimed 230km range on a single charge,just 3km less of the standard model's 233km range.

Here it is previewing what Mini could offer with the next-gen Cooper SE EV,expected to debut in 2023.In Indian Market,bookings for the hard top model have reopened for a batch of 40 units.Its now priced at Rs.50.90 lakh(ex-showroom),combined with new active safety features along with heated sports seats.
